Æsir is a Copenhagen-based company that brings fresh thought to the mobile phone. It has created a new genre
of handset design through ongoing collaborations with individual designers and specialised production partners. Launched in September of last year
the first phone has been designed by Yves Béhar.
The Æ+Y has been engineered, built
and crafted by a team of specialists, selected because they could fulfil the unique requirements of Yves Béhar’s design. The final result is a product that champions the idea of craftsmanship in an age that’s obsessed with more and making last year’s products obsolete.

Defining the main logo as our starting point, we then developed a bespoke typeface which was designed for use both on screen and in print – the creation of the graphic user interface was a direct evolution of this. Having then subsequently designed over 50 individual GUI icons and more than
200 menu screens we established the building blocks for a consistent graphic language that could be implemented across all brand collateral from packaging, brochures, in-store
