Naim Audio’s pursuit of excellence in sound has distinguished them from competitors for over 40 years. In 2014 Naim launched Mu-so, their first – and now multi award-winning – wireless music system.

Commissioned to establish a new brand positioning and identity – one that would connect with a new, younger generation of digital music lovers, Hingston developed a core strategy and visual language that explored the relationship we (as music fans) have with sound, expressing this individual experience as a journey through music.

Over a five year period we evolved this singular approach, to establish a complete brand architecture, delivered across the entire product portfolio.

Beginning with a launch campaign for the new, entry-level digital streamer Mu-so, this was shortly followed by the Mu-so QB. These first two campaigns defined the blueprint for a whole new communications platform and brand world. Visual language, tone of voice and art direction all provided a robust, yet emotive communications framework that would deliver consistency at every level.
